We’re back again with a new, and very interesting article on poisoned weapons in medieval warfare, by renowned HEMA scholar and instructor Jean Chandler! The title of the article is Were Poisoned Weapons ever used in Medieval Warfare? and it is live now.
Jean has published a number of articles in the academic HEMA periodical Acta Periodica Duellatorum, and of course here at HROARR too. He has also lectured at a number of events, including IGX in Boston, at HEMAC Dijon in France, at the Higgins Armoury in Worcester, Ma, and numerous times at the Massachusetts Center for Renaissance Studies in the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. In 2016 Jean won the HROARR Scholar of the year award for “Best Rookie Scholar”.
