The purpose of this specific forum is to gather resources on any weapon, not just polearms, from sources that are not fighting manuals from the Middle Ages or the Renaissance. This can help us both to build a better picture of the spread of the various schools, perhaps make new discoveries or reevaluate old ones, or possibly even find clues to aspects that now are vague, like the use of larger shield or combat on the battle field.
