Open up the board to the whole Hema community?

Hi everyone!
Since the discussions on this board haven't quite take off as I had hoped it would, I am considering opening it up to the whole Hema community.
Certain sections can still be held private for individual designated members and groups if there is such a need.
Still, the whole purpose of the board will be to advance the study of European polearms.
Does anyone have anything against this?
Have a great day, everyone!
Roger

I think that's a great idea, Roger!

Good to hear! I really hope to see a bit of broadening of the Hema studies.

I think it's quite inevitable that one discusison leads to another and hence new experiences and different weapons. I see no problem with this, however it would be nice if focus would still be on polearms.

Yep, I will make sure that the focus remains on polearms. Sometimes it will slip towards other weapons, just as I did a comparison with Umbschnappen for both longsword and polearms...
The board is open to the whole community now, but I haven't advertised it on the other boards. You are all welcome to invite other practitioners though.

Just thought I'd tag on to this thread to say 'hi!'
Thanks for setting this forum up Roger. Good to see a dedicated staff and polearm forum! The longstick/short staff/short spear is probably my chief interest at the moment, so it's great to have a place to discuss it.
Cheers,
Bill
